Deepening meditation retreat
This new, week-long intensive arose by popular request of our past participants, wanting to deepen their meditation practice. It is geared towards young people who already have meditation experience, but also for everyone who knows that they want to experience meditation in-depth directly. The seminar includes longer meditation periods, studying meditation and its mode of action, as well as periods of silence.

Reading together, listening to talks, and exchange on our experience bring tremendous joy and create connection. And although we don’t really “do” anything in meditation, it still is the most effective and profound practice for discovering our true self.
Besides several hours of meditation (including breaks and walking meditation) in the morning and afternoon, we offer daily talks and study courses on meditation and meditation in daily life. We are also happy to facilitate one-on-one interviews with our trained meditation instructors on demand. All parts of our programme are of course voluntary and serve the purpose of getting to know meditation in its depth, really experiencing and exploring it. Alongside this, there is always plenty of time for walks and retreating.
Meeting friends, experiencing nature – finding oneself
The meeting place Neumühle is one of the oldest meditation centres in Europe, idyllically situated in a forest and meadows. Its former flour mill nowadays functions as an oasis of silence and recreation. Gentle rolling hills, welcoming meditation spaces, and the comfortable ambience make for calmness, rest, and gathering the mind.

Travel information
To reach the seminar house via car is very easy – 15min from the highway A8. A Ride Share Signup Sheet will be published before the program.
You can also travel to Mettlach via train where we are happy to pick you up from the station. Please visit the website Deutsche Bahn to check your options.
The next airports are Saarbrücken, Luxemburg or Karlsruhe.
Note: Knowing that young people often have limited resources we make a strong effort to keep the program price to the minimum. As nobody in the organization makes a profit on this program, the price is purely based on what we spend on food, accommodation, organization and equipment. To keep the price low we will also ask participants to help out for a short time during the day with small tasks. If you cannot pay the amount we are asking, please register for a scholarship under info@youngsitameditation.org
Important information
Price: 455 Euros (including accomodation in 2 to 3-bed-rooms, full pension, costs of the seminar and optional collection at station Mettlach). If available, one-bed-rooms can be booked for €100 more.
Participants: Our retreats are designed for young adults who are starting to shape their adult lives, roughly between 18 and 30 years of age.
Seminar facilitators are Karl-Ludwig Leiter and Susanne Becker.

Lectures will be given in English. Participants come from different countries.
