Corine van Huissteden
Corine van Huissteden, born 1987 in Utrecht, the Netherlands, ecologist, started her meditation adventure at the Winter Retreat of 2009-2010.
She is one of the few European experienced and authorized facilitators of Social Meditation and has been coordinating Shambhala youth groups in the Netherlands since 2014. With her enthusiastic, bubbly and colorful character she makes everyone’s rota-job (little task everyone does during a seminar) a pleasant meditation in action experience during each retreat.
“I feel inspired to be in the staff team of YOUNG SITA MEDITATION because the first time I went to a retreat, it was one of the most important turning points in my life. I want to make sure that these retreats keep existing and running smoothly so that as many people as possible can have the most amazing experience ever! I feel dearly towards the retreat, the locations, the people running it, the people participating in it (even when I don’t know them (yet)) and the practice of meditation in general. It’s also a lot of fun to actually be in the staff-team, so a win-win situation here. 🙂 “
