All of our seminars, retreats and meet-ups have always taken place under the umbrella of Kalapa Hotels for over 15 years. The entire administration, including the participants’ database, invitation mailings, newsletters and even the hosting of our website, was built on the company’s infrastructure. It has been a wonderful possibility to organize especially our youth programes in a relatively simple way and we are deeply grateful for being able to use all this for so many years. 

Nonetheless the time has come to build a new and independent home for SITA: we therefore founded the non-profit organization SITA Meditation e.V. on June 30th 2020, registered in Germany.  

The driving force for all our programs is still the same: A commitment to share meditation practice with everyone in the world and through our seminars to further contribute to a peaceful, humane and unprejudiced coexistence. The name SITA continues to hold the same values as before and which we also  represented over the last years with our seminars.

Not too much changes on the outside. However due to our newly gained independence, many processes and organizational structures are running in the background. 

We now have to create all the structures by ourselves, which we were able to use through Kalapa Hotels so far.

• moving and recreating our SITA website, to keep you informed on our latest activities
• an autonomous (participant) database to manage and organize seminars, newsletters, donations, financials …
• Insurances: As a host we are always responsible & accountable for your well-being during seminars

These are only a few of the larger topics and aquisitions we would like to change or have to acquire and are associated with one-time and operational expenses.
